About Michael Turner
Stand-up comedy about sports, relationships, and the everyday moments everyone recognizes.
The Comedian
Real life stories. Fast crowd work. Zero repeat shows.
Michael Turner is a stand-up comedian known for high-energy storytelling and crowd work that turns every show into its own experience. His material comes straight from real life — relationships, group chats, awkward conversations, and why sports somehow connects to everything.
Originally from Cincinnati, Michael started doing comedy in Phoenix before moving to Los Angeles, where he built a national following through relentless touring and viral stand-up clips. Whether you watch football every Sunday or couldn't care less about sports, the jokes land because the stories feel familiar.
His sets move fast, adapt to the room, and never play the same way twice. The audience is part of the show.

Comedy that hits like a linebacker

Michael's comedy sits somewhere between hanging out with your funniest friend and being roasted by someone who knows you a little too well. He mixes tight prepared material with spontaneous crowd work, so every performance feels live and genuinely unpredictable.
He has appeared on Don't Tell Comedy, Netflix Is A Joke Radio, Kevin Hart's LOL Radio, KFC Radio, and multiple comedy podcasts. Beyond the club circuit, he has covered sports on NBC Sports, Bally Sports, and Fox — talking NFL, NASCAR, and more.
He also created the Road Warrior Tour, performing shows alongside Cincinnati Bengals road games, and built an online audience through his Mike'd Up tailgate series.
Background
From Cincinnati to clubs across the country
Michael has been performing stand-up since 2012 in clubs, theaters, festivals, and independent shows across the country. He produces Don't Tell Comedy shows in Los Angeles and previously co-produced This Week Sucks Tonight, now featured at the Hollywood Improv and Mic Drop Comedy Club.
He has performed at national festivals including the High Plains Comedy Festival and the All Things Comedy Festival, and continues touring year-round.
If he's in your city, there's a good chance one of his teams is playing that same week. The Bengals, Reds, Suns, or Sun Devils tend to dictate the tour schedule.
